UTS Financial Assistance

The UTS Financial Assistance Service, located in the Student Services Unit, offers help with the financial and practical aspects of student life. The Financial Assistance Service can provide interest-free Student Loans, Student Equity Grants, extension of time to pay service charges, assistance with budgeting and information about FEE-HELP.

Childcare subsidy for low income students

Each year UTS assists students by providing financial assistance to help with the cost of UTS childcare. To be considered, students need to demonstrate ongoing financial hardship and provide documentary evidence to support their claim.

Money@Uni book

The Money@Uni book(PDF, 1.1MB) helps you work out your university costs and manage your finances. It also explains the government’s Higher Education Loan Programme for uni fees (HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP) and other government support. It will help you identify ways to seek financial assistance, save money and avoid getting into financial trouble.
