Help for Staff
The University of Technology Sydney is committed to creating an equitable work environment for all academic and general staff, and hopes to provide an environment where staff can develop to their full potential.
The Equity & Diversity Unit's support programs and services for staff are designed to:
- encourage diversity in the UTS staff community
- provide a supportive environment for staff with carers' responsibilities
- provide a work environment free from harassment or discrimination
- provide career development programs for staff from target equity groups
- help UTS managers and supervisors understand their responsibility for equal employment opportunity and affirmative action strategies at the local level
- resolve any equity-related grievances which may arise
- monitor, review and report on the effectiveness of equity and affirmative action programs
All staff have access to and benefit from UTS equal opportunity programs and services.
