Temporary Protection Visa Scholarships

UTS is offering fee-exemption scholarships to refugees holding Temporary Protection Visas (TPV) for the 2009 academic year.

What are TPV Scholarships?

Holders of TPVs are usually required to pay international student fees if they wish to study at an Australian university.  This includes students who have completed their schooling in Australia.

The TPV Scholarships assist financially disadvantaged students by covering course tuition fees while students remain on a Temporary Protection Visa. If students are granted permanent residency they will be transferred to a Commonwealth supported place.

Temporary Protection Scholarships are available for all UTS courses provided the applicant has met academic requirements for the course.
