The work training placement program brings together qualified, skilled people with disabilities seeking voluntary 'on the job' work experience and UTS supervisors who have tasks or projects they would like assistance with.
The program is a joint initiative between:
- UTS, and
- the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service Australia (CRS Australia) (opens an external site).
Placements usually run for 12 weeks. Details of each work training placement are negotiated on a case by case basis, depending on the needs of both trainee and the work area.
