Grievance Handling Professional Development at UTS

Managers and supervisors at UTS have a range of responsibilities relating to preventing and dealing with grievances - and students and staff should know their rights in relation to resolution of grievances.

UTS has been conducting a Grievance Handling Professional Development Program since July 2002. The program provides an overview of the policy framework and practical information about the University's grievance resolution processes, including key principles such as procedural fairness.

Participants in the Professional Development program will apply policy and processes to several case studies. Information will also be provided about the role of different areas of the University for support in managing the grievance resolution process.
