EO Rights and Responsibilities
The Equity & Diversity Unit offers training sessions in Equal Opportunity.
Each session provides an overview of equal opportunity rights and responsibilities for UTS students, staff, and other members of the University community.
Key topics within the session include:
- The requirements of Australian and NSW anti-discrimination legislation;
- What is direct discrimination, indirect discrimination and harassment?
- UTS equity policies and guidelines;
- The University's expectations with regard to interpersonal behaviour;
- Strategies to create an inclusive environment at UTS for people from diverse backgrounds.
